Another wonderful day of Christmas carols and the regular blessings of church, and then a walk with Dad on a beautiful sunny afternoon while Tori and Kate went to the Messiah with ASK. Next year I hope to go…
Then the annual Sunday school Christmas program in the evening, which as usual was very nice; but the congregational singing seemed to me to be unusually beautiful, and I’m not sure why. The one song, The Son of God, was especially awesome, with the different individual parts, and especially the bass voices coming in so strong, loud, joyful, beautiful. Aach, that sounds so trite. How can words describe such singing? Can’t. And I’m fairly certain it was recorded (see link on sidebar), but I know that won’t even do it justice. No, if you want to experience it, you’ll just have to come join us sometime. All are welcome! And, speaking of singing, I haven’t yet reported about the Men’s Sing CD; remember when it was recorded this summer? Well, the CD is now available for purchase. It is called Singing With Christ, and it is FABULOUS. It starts out with Our God Is Alive, includes Would We Truly Long For Heaven? and Heaven’s Jubilee and The Unveiled Christ and God of Our Fathers and When All of God’s Singers Get Home and My Sheep Know My Voice, among other favorites. *smile* Actually, I think they’re all favorites.

Since Jesse’s ICC class is done now, he’s been working on his tractor more. It’s beginning to look more like a tractor again!
I’m glad he enjoys tinkering with it – he’s learning a lot and hopefully one of these days it’ll run again too!

You’d think they would run out of energy, but oh no - - after the Christmas program, Josh was in fine form – wild as wild as wild and cuter than a button!!!
